How to avoid Varicose Veins?

We, the modern women of this generation is highly competitive among others. We are highly capable of doing almost the same thing that the gentlemen do. And we are all doing these things to prove ourselves that nowadays we are not just plain housewives, we can do something for our own and be independent as much as possible.

But being busy can trigger something. Something that we can take precautions so that it may not lead to a more serious situation. One of the problems that women do encounter is having Varicose Veins. It is a swollen, twisted vein that you can see just under the skin. Your veins have only one-way out valves that keep your blood flowing towards your heart.

This is the reason why a group of vascular surgeons in Singapore is being formed, the Cheng SC Veins and Endovascular. Their expertise revolves around the different problems that are related to Venous diseases, Arterial diseases, and Diabetes-related diseases.

Their common case is the Varicose Veins. It is usually caused by excessive pressure on the legs. The most common reason for that is pregnancy, obesity, and standing for a long period of time. Your legs are being forced to maintain a posture that is the reason why you are having varicose veins. Top of all, if you are wearing heels for a long time, that is the reason why ladies are usually the patients for this problem.

The Cheng SC Veins and Endovascular conduct a series of tests that would be able to determine how serious it is, like the changes of colors, the swelling, sores, and the tender areas of the skin while you are walking and sitting. The doctors also will ask you how much pain occurs throughout the years.

They really encourage the patients to seek help from doctors to examine thoroughly the situation. Because each one of that has its own different situation and if not treated immediately it may lead to a more serious illness.

But without avoiding the brilliant minds and selfless dedication of our beloved doctors, we can do something for ourselves to avoid having varicose veins and get worsen the condition of a patient.

1. Exercise. A simple walking for about 20 minutes can lessen a higher risk of having varicose veins. We should lose those legs out and get stretched.

2. Monitor your weight and diet. It is fine to gain some weight and avoid looking too skinny but we should still give ourselves limitations in eating. Because your body would struggle to move and be too lazy to do some exercise.

3. Avoid high heels. It can really boost posture and you would really look presentable and aside from that you can gain instant height but still, we should not wear high heels for a long period of time, we should still have our legs get some rest.

Avoid long period of walking and standing. It is still right to have some rest and never force yourself if you are already tired.
